Open Studio Night: Book Making Workshop

Join Open Studio Night Wednesday, March 16, 6pm for the (rescheduled) introductory bookmaking workshop. Instructor Sara will guide us through a book making project, and will share her tips, advice, and know-how during this special Open Studio event. The night will include the creation of unique pamphlet-style and dos-a-dos bound books. We will be exploring how to fold folios, sew signatures, and create covers for your handmade books. Feel free to bring any personal materials that you would like to incorporate into your books, such as photographs, letters, or anything else that comes to mind!

Open Studio Night is a weekly gathering free and open to any artist, creator, or maker. We meet most Wednesdays in the (106) basement studio space to discuss, explore, and participate in art-making together. Bring yourself, bring a friend, and come ready to create!
